Event Recap
Manus, through London fellows Gary and Oli, launched its first London vibe coding event at London Business School on 1 June 2025, welcoming 40+ participants from LBS students and London tech community members. Co-hosted by the LBS Entrepreneurship Club, this event brought together people from business and tech background to craft startup ideas.
The participants vibe-coded for 1.5 hours and built 18+ ideas, in which 10 teams presented their idea in pitching style to the audience for feedback. There is general praise on the level of depth and detail Manus got to when building solutions, including several items/fields that the idea originators have not even thought about. Several participants were pleasantly surprised to find out that Manus is able to work in the background without needing to stay in an active tab, and were curious on the credit calculations. Many participants were eager to hack for longer period of time, and were keen to make full use of the opportunity, leading to some late submissions.
The event was inspiring and the group size was good for networking, with many attendees staying beyond the official event timing to exchange contacts and ideas.
