We’re excited to share highlights from our “Manus Osaka” event, a gathering that brought together enthusiastic creators from across Japan to explore and prototype with the general-purpose AI agent Manus.

It was extremely encouraging to see participants from across the Kansai region and beyond, all converging in Osaka to dive into Manus. The energy and variety of ideas reaffirmed our conviction that innovation isn’t confined to major tech hubs — creativity thrives wherever it’s nurtured.
Empowerment through simplicity: Manus’s low entry barrier allowed many non-technical participants to craft meaningful applications.
Collaborative growth: Working in teams helped ideas flourish faster and sparked new learning paths.
Focus on people: Small gestures—like food, merch, and a welcoming environment—made a big difference in boosting morale and participation.
Connections matter: Bringing together diverse minds from across Japan helped fuel fresh ideas, partnerships, and enthusiasm for Manus.

Looking forward, the success of Manus Osaka shows the power of regional events to spark innovation. While we continue to think about hosting similar gatherings in Tokyo, Osaka reaffirmed that bringing Manus to local communities is essential. Going forward, we’re excited to explore not just large hackathons, but also more casual, accessible formats like solo or small-group moku-moku (focused work) sessions.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Osaka — your creativity, collaboration, and spirit truly made the event memorable. We’re already looking forward to the next chance to build the future with Manus, together.
